grated fresh ginger (could easily swap out 1/4 tsp of ground ginger instead)

garlic (minced)

1/2 cup

soy sauce

1/2 cup

water

3/4 cup

light brown sugar

approximately 1 cup vegetable oil (,for frying your steak)

green onions (sliced)

1 lb

flank steak

1/4 cup

corn starch

2 tbsp

soy sauce

2 tbsp

hoisin sauce (these last two ingredients are optional (but I enjoyed the extra flavor))
