butternut squash (diced)

salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

poultry seasoning

1/3 cup

apple cider

1/3 cup

chicken stock (store bought or homemade)

2 tbsp

apple cider vinegar

1 1/2 cups

all purpose or bread flour

heavy pinch salt and freshly ground black pepper

several gratings fresh nutmeg

whole milk (enough to make a thick batter)
