tablespoons unsalted butter (3/4 of 1 stick), very soft – let it sit out while dough rises
about 1 cup orange marmalade

cup light brown sugar, packed
Orange Glaze

orange juice
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract (orange extract may be substituted)

confectioners’ sugar
salt, optional and to taste (helps balance the sweetness)
