INGREDIENTS

unsalted butter, softened (1 1/2 sticks)

light brown sugar, packed

granulated sugar

vanilla extract

all-purpose flour

packet instant vanilla pudding mix (not sugar-free and not ‘cook & serve’)
1 tsp
baking soda
salt, optional and to taste
one-12 ounce bag (2 cups) semi-sweet chocolate chips (I use Trader Joe’s)
I like to use Ghiradelli Milk chocolate chips when making these. I also like to add a pinch of cinnamon.
