INGREDIENTS
1 lb
top sirloin steak
1/2 lb
whole mushrooms, halved
6 tbsp
butter, melted
1/2 tsp
dried basil
1/2 tsp
dried parsley
1/2 tsp
dried thyme
3 tsp
minced garlic
salt and pepper,
fresh thyme or parsley, for garnish
NOTES
I cooked in a hot skillet with butter. Sprinkled dry seasonings on top. Removed from skillet. Added garlic to the skillet for a few seconds. Red wine to deglaze. Add mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, salt, pepper. Simmer. Add steak back in and serve.
